The Little Anti-War Protest That Couldn't

It looks like the wacky left threw a protest and nobody came. This was billed as the "biggest anti-war protest since Vietnam", and yet the pictures are underwhelming at best. Best estimates have the crowd at a couple thousand or so; certainly not the 100,000 that was advertised.

If you'd like to read some of the reports and analysis, here are some links:

The whole thing is basically an anti-American hate fest, and the stage is being used to denounce America for every real and perceived evil these folks can come up with. As one guy suggested, the GOP should just tape this rally and use it in the '06 and '08 elections instead of fancy campaign commercials. No sane person would vote for any candidate supported by these kooks.

UPDATE: Need more pictures to demonstrate the underwhelming response to today's protest? Look here. And here. And this is pretty revealing about the kinds of kooks in attendance in D.C. today.

Looking at all these pictures of D.C. brought back a lot of good memories from my vacation this past July. It's a fun town to visit, and I would have loved to have been on the Mall today to see the parade of the brain dead.
