Louie's Got the "Proof" The Levees Were Blown

A couple of weeks ago we told you about Louis Farrakhan and his wild-eyed claims that the federal government blew up the levees in New Orleans to flood the black areas and save the white areas. Just in case you're wondering, Louie hasn't gotten any saner since then:
Nation of Islam chief Minister Louis Farrakhan has expanded on his theory that New Orleans' levees were blown up during Hurricane Katrina, announcing Friday that divers working on the levee break have found evidence of explosives.

"These explosives are from the government side," he said during a press conference in Memphis held to promote his upcoming Million Man Anniversary March.

In quotes picked up by Memphis TV station WMC, Farrakhan demanded an investigation into the Bush administration's levee plot. If true, he insisted: "somebody is guilty, then not only of mass destruction of property, but of mass murder."

Farrakhan predicted that when New Orleans is rebuilt, it will be "a white city."

"It will be rebuilt to the exclusion of the poor who have been dispersed all over the country," he said.
It's true that many of the poor have been dispersed to other areas, and probably many of them will not return. Why? Because after they've had a chance to live in a functional society outside of New Orleans, why would they want to go back? I'm hoping these people will be able to get their lives together and become contributing citizens in their new hometowns.

Here's a guy who's learning the hard lessons (from Political Diary):
'I've learned my lesson from Katrina,' said Dartanian Sanders, a laborer from Abita Springs, La., who'd spent three days driving through two states seeking help for his family. 'The lesson is to save money and be self-reliant. Counting on the government in an emergency is like sending your kids to a candy store where the guy is selling drugs'
Mr. Sanders is going to do okay. Meanwhile, Louie will continue his hallucinations.
