MoveOn Part Deux, Flying Hurricane Victims to Washington Rally

All you need to know about this story is what appears at the top of the MoveOn press release:
Members of MoveOn.org Political Action are scheduled to hand-deliver thousands of petition signatures to the White House after the rally. The petition says, "President Bush should stop blaming the victims of Hurricane Katrina and get to work helping them."

Who: Katrina Evacuees and MoveOn members

What: Protest outside the White House in support of Hurricane Victims

When: 1 PM EDT, Thursday, September 8th

Where: Pennsylvania Avenue NW. In front of the White House. (Metro: Red Line: Farragut North. Blue-Orange Line: Farragut West or McPherson Square)

"Shame" and "Help Hurricane Victims"
Of course, nobody is blaming the victims of the hurricane at all. They are, however, blaming the local and state authorities to completely dropped the ball in the planning and execution of their hurricane evacuation plan. Will MoveOn conduct protests against Mayor Nagin and Governor Blanco?

Get serious. MoveOn becomes more comical every day.

UPDATE: Byron York has a report on the protest which was a complete flop.
