Note to Bryant Gumbel: Black American Win Gold Medal

Bryant Gumbel had some harsh things to say about the Winter Olympics - even slamming them for the lack of black athletes. Bryant should have watched a little longer:

Speedskater Shani Davis' victory in 1,000 meters makes him the first black athlete to win an individual gold medal in the Winter Olympics.

Granted, one guy does not a movement make, but it's still interesting that this victory came so closely on the heels of Gumbel's comments.
