Paulson to Replace Snow at Treasury

John Snow has resigned as Treasury Secretary (a surprise to no one):
Treasury Secretary John Snow resigned on Tuesday, marking the latest departure from President Bush’s Cabinet.

Goldman Sachs Chairman Henry M. Paulson Jr. will replace Snow.

The president was expected to make the announcement at a 9:15 a.m. EDT ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.

Snow’s departure comes after more than a year of rumors and speculation that he would leave when Bush began making changes to his White House staff earlier this year.

When I hear of someone named Paulson in government, I can't help but think of this guy:

I think he would have done just as well (if you don't remember Pat's campaigns for president, you're too young).
