Treasury Secretary John Snow resigned on Tuesday, marking the latest departure from President Bush’s Cabinet. When I hear of someone named Paulson in government, I can't help but think of this guy:
Goldman Sachs Chairman Henry M. Paulson Jr. will replace Snow.
The president was expected to make the announcement at a 9:15 a.m. EDT ceremony in the White House Rose Garden.
Snow’s departure comes after more than a year of rumors and speculation that he would leave when Bush began making changes to his White House staff earlier this year.
I think he would have done just as well (if you don't remember Pat's campaigns for president, you're too young).
