John Kerry Just Doesn't Understand

While campaigning in Iowa, John Kerry blasted President Bush for not catching Osama bin Laden:
INDIANOLA, Iowa -- Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry is accusing President George W. Bush of abandoning the hunt for Osama bin Laden and deceiving Americans about the war in Iraq.

Kerry, who spoke Friday in Indianola, said Bush has tried to shut down the CIA unit that was hunting bin Laden but the Senate voted to keep it going.

Earlier in the day Bush said the hunt will continue until bin Laden is captured.

But Kerry questions why an overwhelming majority of American troops are in Iraq instead of Afghanistan, where bin Laden and other terrorists had trained.

What better proof do you need that Kerry doesn't get it? Kerry and his like-minded Dems have convinced themselves that the war on terror is all about one thing - catching bin Laden, and once we do that, BINGO!, the war is over. How utterly ingnorant.

The majority of the troops are in Iraq because the majority of the terrorists in are in Iraq, and whether bin Laden is caught or not will make little difference in the overall scheme of things. For all we know bin Laden assumed room temperature long ago. He hasn't been seen on videotape for years, and his #2 guy is doing all the talking. At this point bin Laden is little more than a figurehead, and probably a dead one at that.

If bin Laden is still around, he's hiding out in cave somewhere in Pakistan and is having little or no effect on anybody...but John Kerry.
