The Saddest Day of the Year

It wsa a little glum around the HolyCoast household early this morning. Today is the first day of school, and neither the senior or the sophomore were particularly excited about it. With school schedules today, the kids have to leave the house at 6:30 am to get to school on time, and for kids who can easily sleep until noon if allowed, this is tough stuff.

To complicate matters, the league scheduled the football team's second home game tonight, so the first day of school won't end until 10 or so this evening (both kids are in the band so they have to perform at the game).

If getting up today was tough, just wait until tomorrow...
