I'm sick of the gay marriage debate. Everytime the news covers a story about it, I'm treated to the sight of some lip-locking perverts laying one on each other. It's nauseating to watch, and if it takes authorizing gay marriage to get it off the evening news, I'm not altogether sure that would be a bad thing.
My thoughts on marriage are thus: My marriage means a lot to me and I'll do anything I have to do to protect it. The marriage of my family members means a lot to me, and the future marriages of my children will mean a lot to me. However, after all the noise, protests and disgusting video, if some queer in New Jersey wants to marry his goat and doing so will cause him to shut the hell up, I'm all for it. Get 'em off my TV. The goatherd and his bride won't affect me one way or the other.
Some of my Christian brethren might be dismayed at this post, but I'm sorry, I just can't get outraged about everything anymore. My outrage meter when it comes to gay marriage is on empty. I just want those people to go away.
And yes, I am in a bad mood.
