What a Difference a Year Makes

One year ago this morning I got up early, headed to LAX, and boarded a flight to Kauai, Hawaii where we spent 8 days dodging raindrops and enjoying the atmosphere. Shortly after arriving at the hotel I took this picture from our 10th floor balcony:

This morning, one year later, I'm waking up in a hotel in El Centro, CA. I have some business in Imperial County today.

I'm depressed.
