The Dem debate in South Carolina last night didn't ease the minds of Americans that Democrats are serious about defense. Even when confronted with a nightmare scenerio involving nuclear attacks on two U.S. cities, the candidates stumbled around trying to say what they'd do without actually suggesting a significant military response.
