Yesterday was a big day in our household. First, the daughter and I had to get back from New York, which was an adventure of its own, and then we had a graduation to attend and a birthday to celebrate. All because of these two:
The tall one on the left turned 16 yesterday (but can't get his driver's license for another month or so), and the daughter graduated from high school. The ceremony was held in the school's stadium under a baking late afternoon sun. Altogether they turned about 700 kids loose on the world:
Of course, I had to get the obligatory cap-and-gown shot of the newly minted high school graduate:
Next week we'll head up to college for freshmen orientation. Time sure does fly.
