The Bronx Is Burning
I was a big baseball fan during the 70's and 80's and well remember all the fireworks that were going on with George Steinbrenner, Billy Martin and Reggie Jackson of the Yankees. ESPN is running a miniseries called "The Bronx is Burning" that recounts those tumultuous years in New York, and for some odd reason, also incorporates the Son of Sam shootings. The first episode entitled "The Straw" will be shown again several times this week, so you still have a chance to see the series from the beginning. I just watched the opening episode and it looks to be a pretty well done show. If you were a fan like I was during that period, you'll want to catch this series.
