Roberts Tells Bush He's Okay, Still a Conservative

President Bush called Chief Justice John Roberts to check on his health after yesterday's scare:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Chief Justice John Roberts told President Bush Tuesday he was doing well after sustaining a seizure at his Maine vacation home, the White House said.

Bush called Roberts Tuesday morning.

"The chief justice assured him that he was doing fine," White House press secretary Tony Snow said. "The president was reassured."

The Chief also assured President Bush that he's still a conservative. After the reports yesterday that Roberts had a head injury and was foaming at the mouth, many of us were concerned that he'd suddenly become a liberal.
