Another Dem Congressman Assaults a Citizen

Now that Cynthia McKinney is out of congress there's been a dearth of assaults on innocent citizens by Democratic congressmen. Well, the assault-free streak has ended:
ABC 7 has learned the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority have charged Representative Robert Filner of California with assault and battery following an incident at Dulles International Airport Sunday night.

Police say they were called to the baggage claim area around 6 p.m. when a passenger attempted to enter an area authorized for airline employees only.

ABC 7 spoke with several witnesses who say they saw Filner push aside an United Airlines employee and refused to leave the office.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Filner waiting outside the office and informed him the airline employee would be pursuing charges.

Investigators say the employee appeared before a Loudoun County Magistrate Sunday evening and Filner is now scheduled to appear in General District Court on October 2.
Travel on the airlines can drive anybody to want to punch somebody, but for some reasons most of us are able to refrain. Of course, I've never been a Dem congressman so I'm sure there are many other factors that can lead to irrational behavior in Democrats.
