I was just looking at the San Diego news sites and they have updated figures for the San Diego fires that are truly staggering. Homes lost - 1,000. Other businesses and structures - 200. Evacuees - 500,000. That's approximately 1 in 6 county residents out of their homes.
Total area affected: 384 square miles.
