If you're wondering whether Christmas is on the way I can tell you firsthand it's on its way down the I-5. As we were driving home from Northern California today we passed several large truckloads of Christmas trees probably coming down from Oregon and Washington. I'm not sure I'd want to buy a tree this early since the thing will probably be a Roman candle looking for a match by Christmas Day, but to each his own.
