You've probably noticed the same thing I have regarding holiday TV advertising - suddenly every third ad is for luxury cars which we're supposed to buy our loved ones for Christmas. Do that many people really buy cars for Christmas? I guess they do based on the sudden crush of advertising.
Each ad is complete with messages that suggest you're a complete schmuck if you don't pop for a new Escalade for your wife or a Lexus of some sort for that special person.
If you really want to make a good impression this Christmas, don't buy a car....buy gasoline.
