As I write this Mike Huckabee is giving his concession speech and has pledged to support John McCain and the GOP in the general election. Huckabee gave it a good shot and he should be congratulated for the effort. If nothing else he kept McCain from going too far off the reservation.
I think he'll be a frontrunner in 2012 if McCain doesn't win (and maybe even if he does - he's pretty old, you know).
UPDATE: A very eloquent and gracious speech from Huckabee. I don't know if he's going for VP but he wouldn't be a bad choice.
UPDATE 2: President Bush will endorse McCain tomorrow.
