Feminists Scorned

Depending on the outcome of today's DNC meeting in Washington D.C., some feminists may choose to abandon the party and its nominee, Barack Obama:

MINNEAPOLIS — The founder of the DFL Feminist Caucus in Minnesota is saying "no" to Barack Obama.

Koryne Horbal says she and other feminists are promising action that could hurt Obama's candidacy if the disputed Florida and Michigan delegations are not fully seated at the Democratic National Convention.

If Obama becomes the nominee under those circumstances, Horbal says she and others will write-in Hillary Rodham Clinton's name on the ballot in November instead of voting for Obama.

Horbal says there's a petition drive to get feminists across the country to make the pledge.

Democratic leaders are meeting Saturday to discuss what to do with Michigan and Florida delegates. The states have been punished for going against party rules by holding early primaries.

Clinton supporters want the party to seat all 368 delegates from the two states.

They may seat all 368 delegates, but may only give them 1/2 vote each. I wonder how that will play with the feminists?
