Political Quote of the Day

An Obama surrogate injects race into the campaign...yet again:
“Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American? Republicans are not going to go lightly into the darkness.” - Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, September 16th, 2008.
No, Republicans are anti-darkness.

UPDATE: Don Surber has more examples of why you must vote for Obama or you're a racist:

CNN Jack Cafferty:
The differences between Barack Obama and John McCain couldn’t be more well-defined. Obama wants to change Washington. McCain is a part of Washington and a part of the Bush legacy. Yet the polls remain close. Doesn’t make sense…unless it’s race.

Frank James of Tribune newspapers:
So it’s white flight from the African-American guy, according to this poll. That’s so New Jersey.

From the Youngstown Vindicator:
“Race — that’s the only reason people in the Valley won’t vote for him,” said state Rep. Thomas Letson of Warren, D-64th, about Barack Obama, his party’s presidential nominee. “There are 1,000 reasons to vote for Obama and one reason why you won’t — race.”

Calling all of white America racist is certainly a winning approach...NOT.
