I'm watching the CNN coverage of Sarah Palin arriving back in Fairbanks (Fox wasn't covering it live) and the CNN anchors are mystified at the reaction Palin has been getting. They can't understand why they're sitting in the studio at 11:30 pm EDT and watching an airport arrival ceremony in Fairbanks, AK. They just don't get it.
UPDATE: Just watched the arrival speech. Very upbeat, positive, smiling, clearly enjoying every minute of it. No snark, sarcastic asides or veiled insults which have become standard fare for Obama/Biden speeches.
As my wife says, she makes politics fun.
UPDATE2 - A further thought. Because Palin stayed right on message and kept everything upbeat and positive, she won't spend all day tomorrow defending her speech from attacks by the press or the Obama campaign. I'll bet Obama would like to have a day like that.
