The McCain folks are conducting a slash and burn campaign against Palin, attempting to place the entire blame for the lame McCain campaign on her. It's a classic CYA operation. The media is doing their best to damage her so badly she won't even be able to win reelection in Alaska in 2010. She's a threat to liberal dominance in Washington in future years.
