On January 20th, 2001 I spent many hours watching the Bush inauguration festivies on Fox News. One thing that surprised me was the emphasis on Bill Clinton's departure from D.C. For a time there he got a lot more attention than Bush did, including live coverage of Clinton's final farewell to the Air Force One team at Andrews Air Force Base.
Will Bush get any attention today other than the obligatory shots of him greeting the Obamas at the White House in the morning and a nod from Obama during his speech? Will the networks follow Bush to Andrews and televise his farewell to the Air Force unit that has served him for four years?
We'll see. They may be in such full inaugurasm that they won't be able to think about anything but Obama.
