Gallup started tracking Barack Obama's presidential approval rating on January 21st. The initial number was 69%, down from 83% he scored during the transition.
Today the approval number is 63%. The disapproval number has climbed from 12% to 21%. The first 2 1/2 weeks have been a bit tough on The One.
I jokingly made a prediction to a reader that by April 15th his approval number would be down to 55%. I think he might get there quite a bit sooner than I thought.
