Ax Men in Big Trouble

One of those reality shows that I find myself watching is Ax Men, about loggers in the Pacific Northwest. One of the perils of putting your life on TV is that someone may see something you'd rather they didn't see:
SEATTLE — The state Department of Natural Resources has seized more than two dozen logs it says a timber crew featured on the History Channel's reality show 'Ax Men' salvaged illegally.

DNR chief enforcement officer Larry Raedel says officers served a search warrant Friday on S&S Aqua Logging to retrieve timber the company had pulled from the Hoquiam River.

Raedel says the company didn't have a permit to salvage those logs, and DNR officer were tipped off after watching the show.

This particular company pulled up logs that had been soaking at the bottom of the river for 100 years. They could be worth as much as $10,000 apiece because of the beauty of the wood that's been sitting in water that long.

Looks like they may need to find something else to do.
