Dems Surrender in the War on Rush

The Democrats played Gen. George Pickett to Rush Limbaugh's Gen. George Meade and were just as successful in their massed charges against the radio giant. Just as Pickett's men were forced to leave the field after a devastating defeat at Gettysburg, so too have the Dems surrendered in the battle of Rush.
Beginning Sunday, the White House will harness every part of the Democratic Party’s machinery to defend President Obama’s budget and portray Republicans as reflexively political, according to party strategists.

A participant in the planning meetings described the push as a successor to Democrats’ message that Rush Limbaugh is the Republican Party leader. “We have exhausted the use of Rush as an attention-getter,” the official said.

Mainly because the one getting the attention was Rush, in the form of both an increased number of listeners, and an increased time of listening. Obama never laid a finger on him.

Now they plan to take on Congress to get their next massive spending bill approved.

Good luck with that.
