George Bush is Still a Pretty Popular Guy

For a guy who is supposed to be so hated he still seems to have people that like him (from Campaign Spot):

So, former President Bush is the most hated president of all time, astonishingly low approval ratings, blah blah blah...

Except that he's raised $100 million in roughly 100 days for his Presidential Library. In this economy.

Time notes it took Bill Clinton two years to raise $100 million, hindered by controversy over the Marc Rich pardon.

Believe me, over time his presidency will look better and better. Unlike the Clinton Library and Massage Parlor, built to look like a double-wide trailer, the Bush library might actually be something that people want to visit. He certainly had a more consequential presidency than did Clinton.
