Political Quote of the Day

H/t Don Surber:
2. Democratic Sen. Al Franken said she was “the most experienced Supreme Court nominee in 100 years.”

In judicial heaven, Justices William Howard Taft, Thurgood Marshall, Earl Warren and the rest had a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment.

Well, now we know that Franken never technically “played” a fool on television.
I'm just glad that Franken's first job in the Senate is in this hearing. It should be eye-opening.

William Howard Taft was a judge for 12 years before SCOTUS.
Thurgood Marshall was a judge for 4 years before SCOTUS.
Earl Warren was a judge for 0 years before SCOTUS.
Sonia Sotomayor has been a judge for 17 years.
So she beats them on judge experience.
