Wind and More Wind

Sorry, but no time for photos, though I've got some really good ones coming. We took the 3:30 cruise on the Detroit River this afternoon. It was very windy - probably 20-25 knots steady.

We left the dock on our 2 hour cruise and within 5 minutes we started getting a little rain as a big shower built up over the downtown Detroit area. Although we were sitting under cover, thanks to the wind we were still getting wet. It was more annoying than anything and after 15 minutes or so we were out of it.

We traveled east up the river, went around Belle Isle, then traveled back west along the Canadian shore past the Ambassador Bridge, and then back along the Detroit shore past downtown and the Renaissance Center. Once I get home and have a chance to work on this stuff I'll post pictures. I've got several days worth of stuff sitting in my camera.

We'll be flying much of the day tomorrow. Running the DTW-ORD-SNA gauntlet.
