Back to School

This weekend we're on the road again as it's time to return the college girl to Sonoma State University. This time the trip north will be a little different. Instead of piling everything into the Explorer, we'll have two vehicles headed north because for the first time she's going back with her own car. A week ago HolyCoast Dad handed over the keys to his Chevy Cavalier which he won't be needing anymore and she's making it her own.

That shot was taken the night before he took a bad fall and ended up in the hospital for a week. He's back home now, but pretty weak and having a hard time getting back up to speed. He's also got a nice new scar on his forehead where it took 5 stitches to close up the gash he got when he fell. Hopefully, he's on the mend.

Blogging will be sporadic through Monday as I try to fit some computer time inbetween driving and hauling her stuff into the dorm.
