Moonbeam Beating Gay Bay in CA

A new poll suggests that California could be on its way to a 1970's rerun:
A new Field Poll in California finds Jerry Brown (D) is running comfortably ahead of Gavin Newsom (D), 47% to 27%, in the Democratic race for governor.
Brown, known then as "Gov. Moonbeam", was governor of California from 1975 to 1983. To my recollection the highlight of his term was dating Linda Ronstadt.

Newsom is the mayor of San Francisco who tried to singlehandedly legalize gay marriage in California by ignoring state law and allowing gays to marry in SF...briefly, until the courts shut him down. He's one of those econuts who thinks banning water bottles will save the planet and has trash police going through people's discards to make sure they property recycle. He was also endorsed recently by Bill Clinton, and that probably won't help. Newsom was caught in an affair and spent time in rehab, thus ensuring the Clinton endorsement.

I have to say, if we're going to get stuck with a Dem governor, and that's likely in California, I'll take Moonbeam again over Gay Bay. We're screwed either way/

Dating Linda Ronsadt?

You must have forgotten the hit job done on Brown by Roone Artledge at ABC News during the 1992 campaign.
Roone's anonymous sources said Jerry let drug parties go on at the Governor's mansion.

That's the "liberal" media for you.
