Giving Terrorists a Platform

You just knew this was going to happen:
The five men facing trial in the Sept. 11 attacks will plead not guilty so that they can air their criticisms of U.S. foreign policy, the lawyer for one of the defendants said Sunday.
Scott Fenstermaker, the lawyer for accused terrorist Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali, said the men would not deny their role in the 2001 attacks but "would explain what happened and why they did it."

...Mohammed, Ali and the others will explain "their assessment of American foreign policy," Fenstermaker said.

"Their assessment is negative," he said.
So, instead of a military tribunal which would keep the defendants out of view and away from the cameras, we're going to have a public show trial where a bunch of terrorist radicals can spout their hatred of America for all to hear. How uplifting.

And Attorney General Eric Holder will be cheering them on all along the way.

I'd give them a platform alright, it would have a trap door on its floor and they would have a noose around their necks!!! These terrorists hate our country and will do anything to bring it down, and we are going to give them a public platform to further vilify our country??? We must have an awful lot of nuts running the show!
