Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) has strong words for the Republicans opposing Attorney General Eric Holder's plan to bring five 9/11 suspects to New York City to face trial.Uh...no. People who attack the United States, especially unlawful combatants who don't wear the uniform of a particular country, have no American rights. In past conflicts unlawful combatants could be hung immediately upon capture. Today the libs want to give them full Constitutional rights to which they are not entitled.
"They see this as an opportunity to demagogue," he said. "They will seize on any opportunity to do that, and that means they'll even take a stand that's un-American."
"It's un-American to hold anyone indefinitely without trial," Moran added. "It's against our principles as a nation."
If anyone is promoting a view that's opposite to traditional American values it's Moran.

I think he just sealed his own fate. It may be "unAmerican," but last I checked his constituents didn't want terrorists in their backyard either. Virginia just got rid of one terrorist, permanently.
My crystal ball forecasts a change in Mr. Moran's future (hope he's dusting off the resume).
