It's the new Ford Taurus Police Interceptor which will be replacing the Crown Victoria model they've been selling for a number of year. The story is here.
I hear Chevrolet is bringing back the Caprice, too, and that was a very popular cop car for a lot of years. Looks like Government Motors is going to compete with the one company that didn't take bailout funds for the cop car business.
