What a fabulous day!
Took the photo on my cell phone. Duh, I forgot and left the camera in the car blocks away. I mean, would the founding fathers leave the camara in the car? Oh well, I was so psyched.
Had some inspiring conversations with a fellow who'd come all the way from New Hampshire and a family that had come all the way from Michigan! There's some amazing people in this beautiful country of ours.
I also spoke with a staffer of a congressman from Ohio. The staffer described his boss as a "conservative Democrat." How many Dems would have been wearing that label two weeks ago?!
The rally began with singing the national anthem.
