Police have arrested a Connecticut man in connection with the attempted car bombing of a busy Times Square street Saturday night, NBC is reporting. Shahzad Faisal, of Connecticut, was arrested on Long Island within the last hour.I'm hearing he was arrested at JFK trying to leave the country.
Dear Mayor Bloomberg: I don't think this guy was a homegrown terrorist mad about the health care bill.
As Charles Krauthammer said today, I don't think they'll be holding that terror trial in New York City after all, and Gitmo probably has a new lease on life.

I saw somewhere a remark that the failed bomb had a lot of fertilizer--what a dumbass the "bomber" must be, back, shoe=w, etc, etc.
What was McVeigh's bomb made of? (Hint: Ammonium Nitrate (fertilizer) and racing fuel, as I recall.)
I'm sure he's just a crazed Presbyterian racist health-care hater. What else could he possibly be, when other possibilities are declared to be zero?
This guy used the wrong kind of fertilizer - it wouldn't have exploded.
But the flowers in Time Square would have been spectacular.
