Attorney General Holder Will Investigate BART Shooting Verdict

Of course he will:
The U.S. Department of Justice will conduct an independent review of the Johannes Mehserle case in order to determine whether or not the shooting merits federal prosecution, according the department.

"The Justice Department has been closely monitoring the state's investigation and prosecution," the department said in a statement.

"The Civil Rights Division, the U.S. Attorney's Office, and the FBI have an open investigation into the fatal shooting and, at the conclusion of the state's prosecution, will conduct an independent review of the facts and circumstances to determine whether the evidence warrants federal prosecution."
This is the Rodney King case all over again. In that case the defendants were found "not guilty", sparking the L.A. riots. The Feds jumped in and filed civil rights charges against the officers and eventually, using the lower standard of evidence allowed in civil rights cases, won guilty verdicts.

In jury in the Oakland case found the defendant guilty of involuntary manslaughter, completely appropriate given the facts of the case and the evidence presented. However, because some elements of the race grievance community are upset Holder will go for the double jeopardy civil rights violations.

Meanwhile, the New Black Panthers who were found via a default judgement to be guilt of voter intimidation, are still free after Holder made the Department of Justice drop the case.

There's increasing evidence that Eric Holder is a racist.
