Topless Women in the News

Well, that title ought to be good for a few thousand hits.

Two stories today involving both topless and brainless.  First, from Anaheim:
The tour stop for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is nearly three weeks away, but People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals were out Friday afternoon trying to make sure people don't go.

The activist group staged a protest near City Hall using a chained, virtually topless model with faux wounds on her back to simulate what PETA alleges represents the cruel treatment of circus animals, specifically the Asian elephants.

"It's shocking that the circus beats the animals," said model Meggan Anderson, 25. "We have to do a shocking display to show the public."
Somehow I doubt that ticket sales will be affected.

And from coal mining country, courtesy of Big Hollywood:
Ashley Judd’s been running around on a crusade to strengthen the power our oil rich-enemies hold over us and to put coal miners out of work. She calls it “opposing mountaintop removal mining,” but those of us who live in the real world understand the human consequences of her thoughtless narcissism. Speaking for all “hillbillies,” the actress went so far as to single out for criticism golf courses that have been built atop former mining sites, stating “I don’t know a lot of hillbillies who golf.”

Well, the “hillbillies” have struck back. The poster below was on display at a recent coal industry-sponsored golf tournament in Kentucky:

Nicely done, coal miners.

If I had what Ashley has I'd cover them up also. This gal certainly is nothing much to look at!

Well, don't be surprised Rick, but I have no love only disgust with PETA.
The founder wants to ban using animals to create insulin, ewxcept for herself.
As the Penn and Teller video showed, they bought a huge room freezer (to freeze the animals they kill? don't remember).
These clowns spread broken glass along the gravel path elephants were to take in order that the elephants get injured.

PETA reminds me of the 1979 Doctor Who episode, Seeds of Doom, in which an alien lifeform, a plant is found. This nutter, Harrison Chase (played very creepily by Tony Beckley) steals the seed pod to nurture it.
As the thing grows large and danger, the Doctor tries to destroy it.
As he runs away, Chase yells at them, "animal fiends".

I think we ought to form PETP People for the Ethical Treatment of Plants. They are forced to stay in one place, depend upon us for water and nutrients and at our whim, can be killed and eaten.
Poor plants.
