2012 Will Feature a Different Electoral Vote Line--up

Although the final numbers aren't in yet, projections are being made as to what effect the 2010 will have on congressional (and electoral vote) apportionment in 2012:
Missouri is now estimated to lose a congressional seat (going from nine to eight congressional districts), while Minnesota would keep all eight of their current districts, reversing the loss of a seat that had been projected last year. The state of New York is now estimated to lose two seats (going from 29 to 27 districts … they had previously been expected to lose only one seat). Finally, Florida is now estimated to be gaining two congressional districts (going from 25 to 27 districts … previously they were expected to add a single seat).
Lotsa New Yorkers heading to Florida during the last 10 years. I wonder how much the lack of a state income tax in Florida has to do with that?

So they'll move to Florida, and then complain about the lack of "services" and start raising taxes.
