A Rose Parade by Any Other Name...

...will still take place in perfect weather on January 1st (even if it's pouring rain on New Year's Eve and January 2nd):

For the first time in its 122 year history the Tournament of Roses Parade will have a new name.

Parade organizers announced the 2011 version of the New Year's Day spectacular will be officially known as the 122nd Rose Parade, Presented by Honda.

The change is part of a new sponsorship deal with American Honda Motor Co.

As part of the partnership, the Tournament of Roses will create a new logo that incorporates the Honda logo.

The carmaker will also get the lead float in the parade.

Good thing they didn't get a sponsorship from Toyota or they might not have been able to get the floats to stop.
