Rush just made a pitch to Democrats, if they think Hillary Clinton would be a better president the best thing they can do is stay home this election. He calls it Reverse Operation Chaos, his October Surprise.
The original Operation Chaos occurred during the latter days of the Dem primaries in 2008. The GOP nominee was already set but Hillary and Obama were battling in state after state. Operation Chaos encouraged Republicans to reregister as Dems in order to vote for Hillary and prolong the primary battle. It worked pretty well since the Dem nomination wasn't secured until June.
If Hillary supporter take Rush up on this idea it could play very well into my theory about Hillary's 2012 plans.
Of course, disenchanted Hillary supporters could really help her 2012 campaign by voting for Republicans this cycle.
