A Report From the Black Friday Front Lines

It's still Thanksgiving Day, but Black Friday has started for some. Just for grins I drove over to the Toys-R-Us in Mission Viejo. I got there at about 9:40 pm and they were scheduled to open at 10. I snapped a quick shot (sorry about the lighting):
What you see there is the start of a QUARTER MILE LONG line of people that goes all way down the very large shopping center, and dozens or hundreds more were pouring in the whole time I was there. And the store won't be able to let all those people in at 10 - they only have so much capacity. Consequently, many of the people in that line will be standing in the 40 degree weather for another couple of hours.

Nuts...just plain nuts.
