TSA Quote of the Day

From John Pistole, head of the TSA, when asked why the US won't adopt Israel's highly effective airport security measures:
Americans don’t profile.
And therein lies the problem. In fact, Americans profile every day but nobody in government wants to admit it. Cops do it, shoppers do it, everybody to one degree or another profiles.

However, we've become so common sense-averse that we'd rather treat our entire population like terrorists rather than risk offending any members of the particular group that keeps showing up as suspects and perpetrators of the very activity we're trying to stop.

If the TSA were put in charge of driving automobiles each of us would have to pass a sobriety test before we got in the car to prove we weren't drunk.  They wouldn't even bother to see if we were acting in a way that would indicate intoxication.

It's time to quit being politically correct and start profiling - at least until the suspects in terrorist acts start coming from a more diverse population.

Every time I see Pistole on TV, I feel less confident about our country's safety... He's a drip lacking in common sense.

Best wishes,
