The College Republicans at UC Merced asked their fellow students if they'd be willing to redistribute their GPAs to benefit students whose scores were not as good as theirs. Needless to say, they didn't think that was a good idea, and yet based on your typical college student, most of them would probably approve of the redistribution of wealth via government programs.
