Obama needled one questioner who asked about gas prices, now averaging close to $3.70 a gallon nationwide, and suggested that the gentleman consider getting rid of his gas-guzzling vehicle.This is typical liberal elite B.S. Obama refuses to acknowledge that the thing driving up gas prices is his energy policy (or lack thereof) and the inflation that he's introducing into the economy via massive deficit spending. Instead, he tries to blame it on the guy's car and tells him he just needs to go buy a new one. Yeah, Mr. President, all of us who are being wracked by your economy can just go out and buy a new Prius, or $40,000 Chevy Dolt, or something to help you with your energy problem.
“If you’re complaining about the price of gas and you’re only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know,” Obama said laughingly. “You might want to think about a trade-in.”
