Religion of Peace Kills 20 Because Some Nutty Pastor on the Other Side of the Planet Burned a Book

From Top of the Ticket:
Enraged by a Koran burned 12 days ago by Florida pastor Terry Jones, halfway around the globe, about 1,000 angry people attacked United Nations guards Friday stationed in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif in Afghanistan, killing at least 20 U.N. personnel.

Riled up by mosque preachers at Friday prayers, the most important of the Muslim week, this was the deadliest attack on U.N. members in Afghanistan.
What's interesting is how quickly many commentators rushed to blame the Florida pastor for the violence that occurred on the other side of the Earth. Let's compare the actions and see who might actually be at fault:

  • The crowd in Afghanistan, stirred up by local "preachers", stormed a UN compound, taking guns from guards and killing 20 people, some of whom were beheaded.
  • The pastor in Florida burned a book.
It's really not that hard to figure out the responsibility here, and yet so many people on the left can't do it.  They are apparently incapable of recognizing evil and assigning blame where it belongs.

Does that mean the pastor did no harm by burning a book?  No, but he is in no way responsible for the murderous actions of the crowd in Afghanistan.  If we're going to look for third party blame, perhaps it would be appropriate to examine the religion that treats its holy book in such a way to justify murder should harm come to it.

If Christians killed 20 people for all the Bibles that are burned, or even just 1 person, we'd be vilified for life. What is the matter with people? Let 'Allah' take care of the people that he has a beef with.

And, of course, U.N. personnel HAD to behind this outrage.
