Amtrak Hits Forty
Amtrak is starting its 40th anniversary celebration, about the time the mid-life crises start to hit, but Amtrak has been in a crisis pretty much since it started. It loses money like crazy and if it wasn't for federal subsidies, the people that are riding it now wouldn't be able to afford the tickets.
