The big water is now hitting Minot, ND. Flood waters are spreading through the river valley that runs through the town. There's live coverage from the local TV affiliate available here. The hydrograph readings with predicted levels can be seen here. The rise expected in the next couple of days is astounding.
UPDATE: River level increased a foot in just two hours from 9-11 am local time, reaching the previous all-time high that was set in 1881.
Another 7' rise is possible between now and Saturday.
UPDATE 2: River has gone up another 1.57 feet as of 3:30 local time. New all time record, but it won't end there.
