Seen on Facebook, this pretty much sums up Obama's philosophy on taxation:

You want to make taxes "fair"? Tax everybody...something. I don't care if the very bottom taxpayers only contributed $5, they all need to contribute something in order to be connected to the whole tax and spending situation. I guarantee you that if half the wage earners pay no income tax they'll just keep voting for the people who will punish the rich as long as it means they don't have to kick in. Either that or they just tune out altogether.  We've got to get them in the game and once they're in you won't see quite as much stupidity getting elected to Congress.
