Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on Friday strongly suggested that members of Congress are making it difficult for President Obama to raise the debt ceiling because of his race.Just as a reminder, Sheila Jackson Lee was the congresswoman that asked the scientist handling the Mars Rover if it would be taking pictures of the area where the astronauts landed.
She's also a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, an organization that restricts its membership to people of a certain color. When a white Dem congressman tried to join, he was denied because he lacked the appropriate melanin level.
The only racism in this story is the existence of the Congressional Black Caucus.
